Intelligent Aging Room System for Electricity Meter Testing

Temperature range: RT~+75℃ (temperature adjustable).

Technical Specifications and Functional Requirements

1. Temperature Control

The aging room supports an adjustable operating temperature range from room temperature (RT) to +75°C. The standard operating temperature is typically maintained at 65°C ±2°C to meet the requirements of the designated aging process.

2. Compatible Electricity Meters

The system is suitable for aging tests involving multiple types of electricity meters, including:

  • Single-phase electricity meters

  • Three-phase electricity meters

  • Export-grade electricity meters

3. Access Control and Communication

The access control system supports communication data acquisition and automated control functions. It can collect operational information such as entry and exit counts and remote signaling data. RS485 and Ethernet communication interfaces are supported for data transmission and system integration.

4. Temperature and Humidity Monitoring

The aging room is equipped with at least three temperature and humidity sensors to monitor environmental conditions during operation. Sensor accuracy must comply with the applicable requirements of State Grid and China Southern Power Grid, subject to the relevant technical specifications.

5. Video Surveillance

The system includes two high-temperature-resistant cameras installed inside the aging room and two high-definition cameras positioned at the entrance. Video-related data can be transferred to the State Grid platform through external devices, subject to the required interface and integration configuration.

6. Real-Time Energy Consumption Monitoring

A dedicated metering electricity meter is installed in the main distribution cabinet to monitor and record the system's energy consumption in real time. This information supports energy usage tracking and operational management.

Host Computer and Software Monitoring System

The host computer and supporting software provide centralized monitoring of aging room operations. The interface can display the following information:

  1. Aging Chamber Information: Basic details and identification of the aging chamber.

  2. Temperature Information: Real-time temperature readings and related monitoring data.

  3. Aging Chamber Status: Current operating condition of the chamber.

  4. Door Status: Open and closed status of access doors.

  5. Energy Consumption: Electricity usage information collected by the metering system.

  6. Aging Cart Information: Identification and status information for aging carts.

  7. Work Order Status: Customer name, product details, and related work order information.

  8. Electricity Meter Data: Current and voltage readings, along with other available electrical parameters.

These monitoring functions help operators track the aging process, review equipment status, and manage work orders and energy consumption through a centralized interface.

Optional Equipment and Configurations

The aging room system can be configured with different carts and aging power sources according to the electricity meter types and production requirements.

Aging Carts

  • Single-phase aging cart

  • Three-phase aging cart

  • Export-grade aging cart

Aging Power Sources

  • Single-phase aging power source

  • Three-phase aging power source

  • Export-grade aging power source

The appropriate combination of aging carts and power sources can be selected based on the meter specifications, testing procedures, and production workflow.
